The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)is a civil rights law that guarantees equal opportunities for individuals who have a disability. Those protections apply to the areas of employment, state and local government services, public transportation, privately-operated transportation available to the public, places of public accommodation and telephone services offered to the public. It promotes the full inclusion of people with disabilities into every aspect of society.
